1. What is TeenMOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers Of PreSchoolers. TeenMOPS provides a supportive and non-judgmental environment where teen mothers can come together with others who are in a similar life situation. TeenMOPS is led by women past their teen years who can share their love and experience with you. We meet regularly to provide consistent friendship and encouragement.
2. What happens at a TeenMOPS meeting?
Your children are taken to the nursery where they are loved and cared for while you get a well deserved break. We eat dinner together and play games. Speakers address topics and life skills like first aid, healthy discipline, budgeting, and baby development. We also spend time talking while doing fun, creative crafts and activities.
3. What is the MOPShop?
The MOPShop is a collection of new and gently used baby items. You will earn MOPSbucks for coming to meetings, bringing other teen moms, playing games, and more! Once a month we open the MOPShop for you to spend your MOPSbucks.
