History
Adventure Christian Church began, very simply, as an idea and visionary dream in the hearts of church planters Andy and Elisha Hamilton, under the direction of the Chicago District Evangelistic Association (CDEA), a non-denominational Christian church-planting organization throughout Chicagoland. After sensing the need for a relevant church targeting the unchurched population in Bradley/Bourbonnais, IL, the Adventure Christian Church was planted September of 2003. When the doors of the movie theater opened, 175 people from the community showed up to be a part of this new ministry.
After the launch date of the church, it became quite clear that God has a BIG vision for a dynamic, healthy new church in northern Kankakee County.
